정확한 의미가 뭐지 생각되어서 찾아보면서 알게 된 내용을 기록합니다.

UNECE: United Nations Economic Commission for Europe 이라고 합니다.
UN의 regional commission 이라고 합니다.
한국말로 번역하면 지역위원회?
Europe, North America 그리고 Asia 등 56개국에서 참여하고 있다고 합니다.
굉장히 많은 나라에서 참여하고 있구나 해서 찾아보니 한국, 일본, 중국은 없네요.
무슨 일을 하는 거지?
UNECE contributes to enhancing the effectiveness of the United Nations through the regional implementation of outcomes of global United Nations Conferences and Summits. It gives focus to the United Nations global mandates in the economic field, in cooperation with other global players and key stakeholders, notably the business community.
UNECE also sets out norms, standards and conventions to facilitate international cooperation within and outside the region.
다른건 모르겠고, norms, standards를 만든다고 하네요.
WP.29는 아래 그림과 같이 UNECE에서 하고 있는 여러 분야 중에, 교통수단 분야 중 Vehicle regulations을 담당하는 것을 의미했었네요.
자동차 분야에서 일을 하면서, 가장 재밌는 것은 알아가는 재미가 넘친다. 인 것 같습니다.
(반대로 아는 속도보다 알아야 하는 내용들이 늘어나는 속도가 빠르다는 거죠)
전문 분야는 아니지만, 하나씩 알아가면서 공유할 수 있는 내용들은 블로그에 업로드 하겠습니다.
