ISO 26262 Scope (적용범위)

하나 혹은 그 이상의 전기/전자(E/E) 시스템을 포함하고 그 중량이 최대 3,500kg까지인 양산 승용차에 설치되는 안전 관련 시스템에 적용.

ISO 26262 is intended to be applied to safety-related systems that include one or more electrical and/or electronic (E/E) systems and that are installed in series production passenger cars with a maximum gross vehicle mass up to 3,500kg.

장애인 운전자를 위해 설계된 차량과 같은, 특수한 목적의 차량에 설치되는 특별한 E/E시스템은 다루지 않는다.

ISO 26262 does not address unique E/E systems in special purpose vehicles such as vehicles designed for drivers with disabilities.

생산을 위해 배포된 시스템과 컴포넌트 또는, 국제표준 ISO 26262의 발행일 전에 개발된 시스템과 컴포넌트는 이 범위에서 제외된다. ISO 26262 발행일 이전에 생산을 위해 배포된 시스템 및 컴포넌트의 추가 개발이나 교체가 있을 경우에는 수정사항만 ISO 26262에 따라 개발된다.

Systems and their components released for production, or systems and their components already under development prior to the publication date of ISO 26262, are exempted form the scope. For further development or alterations based on systems and their components released for production prior to the publication of ISO 26262, only the modifications will be developed in accordance with ISO 26262.

E/E 안전관련 시스템의 상호작용을 포함하여 오작동에 의해 유발될 수 있는 위험원을 다룸.

ISO 26262 addresses possible hazards caused by malfunctioning behaviour of E/E safety-related systems, including interaction of these systems.

E/E 안전관련 시스템의 오작동이 직접적인 원인이 아닌 경우인, 전기적 충격, 화재, 연기, 열, 방사, 독성, 연소성, 부식, 에너지 방출과 같은 위험원은 다루지 않는다.

It does not address hazards related to electric shock, fire, smoke, heat, radiation, toxicity, flammability, reactivity, corrosion, release of energy and similar hazards, unless directly caused by malfunctioning behaviour of E/E safety-related systems.

E/E 시스템에 대한 특화된 기능 수행 표준이 있더라도 (예, 능동 및 수동 안전 시스템, 브레이크 시스템<제동장치>, 적응형 순항 제어<Adaptive Cruse Control>) E/E 시스템의 명목상 성능(nominal performance)은 다루지 않는다.

ISO 26262 does not address the nominal performance of E/E systems, even if dedicated functional performance standards exist for these systems (e.g. active and passive safety systems, brake systems, Adaptive Cruise Control).
